Fabdental news

At Fab our passion to help extends beyond our dental practice, into our community and abroad. This is why, along with encouraging regular check-ups and providing dental tips (check out our latest articles below), we also constantly look for other ways to offer support.

Fab likes to get involved with our local Paddington and Bardon area. We support a range of local community events such as the Red Hill Fair, Rainworth SS Fair, Bardon Kindy Fair and the Stuartholme Equestrian Club. We also often participate in fundraising for larger charities who help people further abroad. We've supported YWAM, World Vision, Walk For A Cure, and Jeans for Genes Day just to name a few.

This Sunday, 2nd November, Fab's dentist, Rory McKinnon will be taking steps to change the future of type 1 diabetes (T1D) by joining the JDRF Walk. T1D is a serious disease that affects 122,300 Australian children and adults. They need up to six insulin injections every day or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump, just to stay alive. JDRF is the only global organisation with a strategic research plan to end T1D. For more information about TD1 or to support Rory by donating, please visit the JDRF website and search for Rory McKinnon.

If you want more info about the charities Fab supports, or just want to check that your teeth are in good health, please contact Fabdental today .
